The Dutch and German saying ‘To make an elephant out of a mosquito’ means to exaggerate the importance of something trivial. In other words it means to make a big deal out of nothing.

Choose one item of no importance out of your 'kitchen drawer', your home environment, for instance an egg-timer, dice, lens, napkin holder, post-its, a ripped out page of a fashion magazine; it does not matter how trivial this object is.
Exaggerate the importance of its meaning. Make a big deal out of it! Make something unexciting exciting, something uncomplex complex, something incomplete complete. Play with it and change it around into something new. Mislead others with your actions. Note that they are pointless if no one notices.

You can focus on a single detail of the item, the better you know your item the more precise you can visualize something. Think of the many ways of showing information. How it works best and how it doesn’t. Keep a diary for a week and write about the new things you learned or found out about it.

The outcome has to be an A2 or A1 poster. It can be photo-copied, laser-printed, silk-screened... Use any technique you want, keeping in mind that it should fit your content. People should get information out of your poster.
